Our Junior Development program provides an introduction to cross country for kids aged 6-9 or in the U8 and U10 categories. Following Athletic Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development model, FUNdamentals are the key outcome. Fundamental motor skills of running, jumping, and throwing are taught. We focus on activities that are fun and keep these little athletes active. In cross country these athletes run between 800m and 1km.
